BOK CENTER SUPPORT: ROB LUE, MARLON KUZMICK AND THE LEARNING LAB TEAM

Great Teachers, an ongoing project at the Bok Center, is a video series chronicling some of Harvard’s most skilled instructors and the qualities that make them so dynamic in the classroom. Each featured instructor is first filmed while teaching before their actual students—the aim is to capture the teaching as it really looks, and to give viewers some sense of what it is like to be in class with that instructor. In the second phase of the project the instructor comes to Bok Center to sit down with Faculty Director Rob Lue, and watches through the recording of their class, making comments on it. In these interviews with instructors, Rob will ask the instructor about the decisions that they are making at each stage of the class session in addition to asking more generally about their favored teaching techniques.
